As a 21st century learner we need to be able to read and write on the internet. Throughout the school year students will spend a portion of the design course learning code via codeacademy. Grading rubric is based on daily work/badges/time on task. You want to advance by 15-20 point/day. Programs we will be learning include HTML/CSS.
This is a beginners course. No previous knowledge required. Students may log into their course out side of class to work on projects. We are in this together! Internet permission slips must be turned in before beginning this assignment.

On the top menu of the page you will see the word “Catalog”. Select it.
You will see a screen filled with all of the courses available (computer languages).
Select HTML & CSS. Begin with “Learn HTML”. Once done choose the next course “Learn CSS”. Continue through all of the chapters within the courses.
Complete the lessons in between assignments, while waiting. Complete both course by the end of 1st qtr.*
At the end of the day (last 5″) show your instructor your “Profile” to record points from today’s work.
