Complete a realistic painting by controlling the light, patterns created in shadows and the reflections of color.
A still life of a ornamental pepper plant is provided for your table. In sketchbook sketch lightly your composition then paint the still life mixing color to provide the correct tints and hues. Complete the painting using yellow, cyan, magenta, black and white acrylic paint. Intensity is dulled by adding white or black to a color so try to work only with color. Be sure to add shadows (patterns) reflected on the white table top underneath.
